Yes it's been a while..

As you can see, my last entry was almost 5 months ago. Im still dealing with the loss of my cousin. Im much better now, then I was then but it's still hard. My dad's birthday was yesterday and instead of celebrating, I kept thinking to myself "this time last year, Brandon was here with us". It's hard letting go.

I do have good news though!

IM PREGNANT!!!!

We're 6 weeks and 6 days pregnant. I didn't wanna announce it until we heard a heartbeat so that's why I waited so long. I've passed my milestone (where I miscarried last time). Im 2 whole weeks past it.

On Wednesday, October 4th, I went to the ER. I was bleeding but it was old blood. Still, I was scared. They did an internal exam, an ultrsound and checked my HCG. My beta came back over 10,000 (WOW!) and we saw our nutter butter's heartbeat on the utlrasound. It was AMAZING! Im measuring two days less then I should, but they said that's normal. Either the sperm and egg didnt meet until 2 days later then we thought, or it was hard for her to get a reading cause the baby is so tiny right now. She said I should know more at my next ultrasound. The docs put me on pelvic rest until im cleared by my OB and told me to follow up with them.

I called them and tried to get in before my scheduled appointment on October 17th but they refuse to see me until then (JERKS). Luckily the bleeding stopped...or so I thought. On Friday it started again and I wasn't sure what to do. Still, the docs refused to see me. I had no choice. I called my doc back home (where I used to live). He was so kind and supportive. I told him what was happening and he called in a prescription for prometrium. He said ti will help to maintain the pregnancy, but not to worry. Since im not cramping and the blood isn't red, there's nothing to worry about.

Now it's monday and im still passing old blood but I feel better about it. My doc from back home called today to check on me. How awsome is that? It's a bust monday morning and he took the time to call and check on me to see how I was feeling or if I needed anything. He's AMAZING!
